Horse Back Riding

Explore the scenic beauty of Vermont on horseback! Whether you're a seasoned rider or trying it for the first time, trail rides are available for all experience levels during the warmer months. Guided rides wind through private trails and overlook a peaceful lake, surrounded by forest and mountain views. Advance reservations are required.

Tennis & Pickleball

Guests staying overnight can enjoy complimentary access to the resort’s tennis and pickleball court. Equipment is available to borrow or feel free to bring your own. Courts are open from spring through fall and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Canoes, Paddle Boards, Kayaks

Spend some time on the water! Overnight guests have access to complimentary kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards at the resort’s private beach. Wildlife sightings are common—keep an eye out for loons or even a bald eagle! Equipment is available daily from 9 am to 5 pm (seasonally, weather permitting). Life jackets are provided and required.

Pool

Relax poolside! The heated outdoor swimming pool, open seasonally from June to September, is exclusively available to overnight guests.

Hot Tub

Unwind with a soak in the resort’s hot tub, open year-round and located near the Barn and spa. Towels are available on-site—just bring yourself and enjoy.

Fishing

Cast a line into the resort’s lake, home to a variety of fish including bass and perch. A small fishing boat with an electric motor is available for rent (by reservation only), or you can rent rods and tackle to fish from shore. A Vermont fishing license is required for guests 15 and older. For younger guests, there’s even a kid-friendly pond nearby for frog-catching fun!

Lake & Private Beach

The resort's private beach is a peaceful cove perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or enjoying a paddle on the lake. It’s about a ¾-mile walk from the main lodge. Complimentary watercraft and life vests are available, along with lounge chairs. Don’t forget to grab a beach towel at the front desk before you head down. Interested in bringing a picnic? Just let the front desk know in advance.

Tiki Boat Rides

Set sail on a relaxing Tiki Boat ride with friends and family! Enjoy scenic lake views with light bites and beverages during this 1.5-hour cruise (seasonal and weather-dependent). Reservations are required.

Pontoon Boat Rides

Explore the full lake on a guided pontoon boat ride. These hour-long trips are perfect for sightseeing and unwinding on the water. Available daily from May through October (weather permitting). Reservations required.

Disc Golf

Try your hand at the resort’s 9-hole disc golf course, exclusively available to overnight guests. Discs can be borrowed at the front desk or Activities Center. The course runs from late spring through fall and finishes at the Tavern—a great reward for finishing your round!

Clay Bird Lessons

Available by reservation, guests can take part in clay target shooting lessons led by experienced instructors. Sessions are limited to small groups for safety and are open to guests ages 15 and older. Offered from spring through fall.

Volleyball

Enjoy a casual game of sand volleyball with a backdrop of mountain views! The court is open from spring through fall and reserved for overnight guests. Volleyballs are available on the south porch—first-come, first-serve.

60km of Trails

Guests can explore over 60 kilometers of maintained trails right on the property, including forest paths, meadows, and country lanes. More adventurous hikers can connect to Vermont’s famous Long Trail from here.
